Olivia turns 5

Olivia seeing her bike on her birthday for the first time.

1st Christmas Present

Gracie opened her first Christmas Present. Aunt Amy sent her a Christmas Dress so it needed to be opened before Christmas.

It is such a darling little dress.

Raking Leaves

This is Olivia and Mason helping Daddy rake the leaves. They sure had a lot of fun jumping in all of the big piles. I think when they were finished there was something like 15 bags of leaves.

JUBILEE OF TREES

Every year we always go to the Jubliee of Trees in St. George on Monday night for Family Night. We always get to Santa and the kids get their picture taken with him. This year they decided to have free admission after 6pm on Monday night. There were so many people there you couldn't even walk around to enjoy all the trees. We did get the picture with Santa ate a homemade caramel apple "yum yum", and the kids got to see the Life Flight Helicopter.
Every year the Jubliee of Trees raises money for the Dixie Regional Medical Center. This year it was to raise money for DRMC to have their own Life Flight Helicopter. It was pretty neat to see one up close. I was really surprised how small the inside of one of those helicopters are.
Next year if they do free admission on family night we will have to change our visit to another night. Admission is only $3 for adults and $1 for kids 3 and older so it's not like it costs a lot of money to go. After all 100% of the proceeds goes for a worthy cost.

What Women Want

Gracie and I went to the What Women Want Expo in St. George on Saturday. We really enjoyed ourselves. There were a lot of fun things. I got a lot of very cute ideas on bow making and jewlery making. There was a lady there taking free pictures. She took a cute picture of Gracie and posted it on her blog. This girl was very talented in getting Gracie to stay on this stool, I was very impressed.

Court Hearing

Our birthmom went to court yesterday to sign her birth rights away of Gracie. We are so glad that everything went well. I have so much love for our birthmom and the sacrafices she has made so that we may have these 3 beautiful children in our home. What a blessing she has been in our lives.
Yesterday I took Gracie to Rachel Wilson's to have her pictures done. She has posted a few on her blog at www.lifeisbeautifulphoto.com if you visit there make sure you visit the blog and not the website. She has a few posted that she took, we will get the rest of them on a cd. We had a fun time.

Meeting with Birthmom

We had a nice little meeting with Valorie our birthmom the day before Gracie was released from the hopital. It was so nice to see her again. We gave her a beautiful basket of pampering gifts, she really like it. She couldn't believe how big Olivia and Mason were. We love Valorie so much for all that she has given us.

It's A Girl

Gracie Rae was born on September 12th. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 oz. and 19 1/2" long. She is doing very well for being born a few weeks early. She will be released from the hospital on the 21st, we are all leaving on the 20th to go pick her up. Burton and I and the kids are very excited to get to see her and hold her. We will be able to bring her home within 7-10 days after she is discharged from the hospital. I am looking forward to getting to pick her up from the hospital. Olivia and Mason was picked up at the foster home they were placed in so it will be fun to pick Gracie up at the hospital. I can't stand the wait any longer so I hope this next week goes by fast. Gracie we will be there soon to scoop you up and bring you home, we love you allready and haven't even seen you.

Baby On The Way

We recieved a phone call on Thursday Night about 10:00 that Olivia and Mason's Birthmom is pregnant and wanted us to adopt the baby. We are so excited it's hard to believe. She is due on October 1st. Because Mason was born 6 weeks early and Olivia was born 3 weeks early it really could happen anytime. We hope to be able to find out what the baby is before it is born. Alot to prepare for in a short amount of time. Both of the kids are very excited.

Disneyland Trip

We had the best time in Disneyland. Olivia was able to meet all of the Princess' and Mason has found a new friend named Buzz Lightyear. The kids had a blast, it was so much fun to see them light up when meeting the characters.

On Saturday afternoon we had lunch at Ariel's Grato with the Princess'. Olivia loved every minute of it. She had her picture taken with all of the Princess', danced and had the best time.

Saturday evening we had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. What a fun place to take your family too. There were so many character's there. We met Pluto, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale. and Jasmine. The atmosphere was great. The kids helped Goofy bake a cake, danced, and all of the Charcters visited our table numerous times. We celebrated Mason's Birthday that night so they came and sang happy birthday. I would recommend a Character meal to anyone. It was worth every penny. (Thanks Grandma!!!)
