BRAIDS
Today I took Olivia over to Washington and had her hair braided. There is a African American women that does hair braiding for a living. Olivia hates getting her hair done every morning, so I decided to have it braided to see how she likes it. It took 2 1/2 hours for the lady to braid Olivia's hair. She was so good to sit and get her hair done. I told Olivia if she was good I would buy her a Barbie of her choice.

Mr. Cupcake
Dr. Olivia
I swear Olivia is going to grow up and be a doctor. She is always wanting to take care of us if we have an "owie". On this particular day she climbed up on her dad with a little Halloween flashlight I just bought for her and Mason. I was sitting at my desk when I looked up and saw Olivia looking in her dad's ear's and nose. I just started laughing, it was so funny. I grabbed the camera and started taking pictures.

Jumping Jacks
Today we took our kids to a place called Jumping Jacks. We all had a great time. Jumping Jacks is in a huge warehouse where there are 15 feet high inflatables. It is a really fun place for all ages of kids. By the time we left Burton and the kids were worn out. These inflatables will even allow for adults to play on, so the kids get a real kick out of their parents playing on the inflatables with them.

Knocking Knees
Burton and I had the privelage of speaking in sacrament yesterday. I am so glad to have it over with. You might would be surprized at how much I like to talk that it scares me to death to speak in public. I would rather go to the dentist and have a root canal rather than talk in public. Our talks went really well, thankfully there were a lot of talks on lds.org to help me out. In Burton's talk he metioned Brian Chandler (our old Bishop), who is now in the Stake Presidency. Anyway he came to scrament meeting in our ward yesterday, we were really thrilled to see him there. Our kids were really good during sacrament meeting yesterday, which never happens. Olivia sat with my mom, and Mason sat with our friends and neighbor Cory and Ashlee Stout. It was really noisy until we started to speak, I have been told that our talks were awesome and brought tears to peoples eyes. It is hard for us to speak about our family without metioning our 2 angels Johnathan and Kamille. Talking about them always brings a tear to our eyes, and for that reason I think that is why it was pretty quite during our talk. I am glad our talks are over now, and hopefully the people in our ward know a little bit more about our family.

Today was Olivia's first day of Preschool. She has been looking forward to this day, she woke up at 6:30 a.m. so excited for preschool saying "it's preschool day". She even had the outfit that she would be wearing set out the night before, and her back pack allready. It's so exciting for Olivia to be going to preschool. I think she will do really well. Olivia is very smart, she knows her alphabet and the sounds.

Washington County Fair
On Thursday, August 7th we took our kids to the Washington County Fair. We went to a Motocross show while we were there. The kids really enjoyed watching it, especially Mason. My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach when the kid took the first jump, his poor mother. Mason couldn't wait for him to jump again. I told Mason he couldn't ever do anything like that. After the motocross show we took them to the petting zoo. The kids had fun with the animals, they would have really enjoyed it if they could have taken one of them home. Both Olivia and Mason really like animals. Of course we ended the fair with the Carnival. The price of ticket rides were outrageous so they didn't get to go on as many rides as they wanted. Mason was excited that there was a train ride there. It was a fun evening out with the kids. Olivia was still talking about the Carnival the next day and how nice it was that her Dad and Mom took her to the Carnival.

WELCOME
GREETINGS,
I decided to start a blogspot to help our family that doesn't live close to us get to see and read about the different things we are doing. There will be a lot of updating until I get this figured out, so bear with me. I hope you will enjoy it.
