Shopping with Mason

So Mason and I were shopping today and I found a good deal on pull-ups. We have been talking to Mason about starting potty training, after all he will be 3 years old on April 30th. We have bought the cars toilet seat, potty watch, and car's underwear. So I was showing Mason the pull-ups and telling him "Look Mason, CARS". He thought they were really cool. I said we could buy these but you have to go potty on the toilet if you use these. He thought for a second......NO PUT THEM BACK. I just had to laugh. I don't know about my kids and some of the things they come up with.

Kids say the darndest Things

I can't resist posting this on my blog. Today in primary during sharing time Sister Hirschi was asking the kids if they knew what "Righteousness" meant. Olivia raised her hand and said it meant...............DON'T MESS WITH YOUR MAMA. I have not laughed that hard in church for a long time. All of the leaders were laughing.

What a Deal

I am so very excitied to share this information with you. I just started doing a shopping program called Grocery Smarts (its free). I went shopping at Albertson's this morning bright and early and bought all these products you see in this picture for $6.24. A Pampers mega pack, 2 Pampers Super Pack, 6 boxes toaster strudel, 2 Bisquick Mixes, 2 Trix Cereal, 4 Fruit Gusher/Fruit Snacks, 5 lb bag potatoes, 2- 1lb box butter, and Green Giant Vegetable steamer. What a bargin, I couldn't believe it. I would HIGHLY recommend doing this, just don't go to the Albertson's I go to, I don't want to have share the products with anymore people than I allready do......hehehe.

CHRISTMAS

We really had a wonderful Christmas. The kids make Christmas so much fun, they were very excited to see what Santa had brought for them. Mom woke everyone up at 7 am so the kids would have time to play with their toys before going to the Grandparents house.

Olivia and Mason both really like their gifts from Santa. Olivia loved her Doll House and the fact that it is a lot taller than her. It also came with all of the doll furniture and an elevator. Mason couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the train table, he was so excited. Olivia was ready to go open presents when Mason just wanted to stay and play with his train table. We had to bribe him to go into the family room to open presents. In between opening his presents he would run off and go play with the train table. I think Santa was a big pleaser for Olivia and Mason this year.

Olivia got all of the High School Musical Dolls, and Mason got a huge fire truck. We really downgraded with the presents this year. It was nice not to be overwhelmed.
Santa was kind and brought our family a Ninteno Wii and 3 games. It has been really fun.We hope you had a wonderful Christmas also.

Gingerbread House

So this is our first year doing a Gingerbread House. It was a lot of fun putting one together. Olivia and Mason would have had all of the candy gone before it got put on the house if I would have let them.

It was kind of funny putting the Gingerbread house together. We were having a great time getting the icing on, and then all of the candy when all of the sudden the roof starting sliding off. We all started laughing. We sure had a good time doing this for a family home evening activity. Sorry I don't have a picture of the finished house.
